Rhetorica ad Herennium by Cicero
The Rhetorica ad Herrenium was traditionally attributed to Cicero (10643 BC), and reflects, as does Ciceros De Inventione, Hellenistic rhetorical teaching. But most recent editors attribute it to an unknown author.
Harry Caplan (1896–1980) was Goldwin Smith Professor of Classical Languages and Literatures at Cornell University.
