Riot Act is a powerful brand-new verbatim theatre piece created especially for the Kings Head Theatre Queer Season. Playwright and performer Alexis Gregory interviewed one of the only remaining Stonewall survivors, a radical drag icon from 1970s London and a 1990s London ACT UP AIDS activist to channel six decades of queer history.Alexis Gregory is a performer, playwright and theatre maker. He is a regular reader at LGBT Literary Salon Polari, and was longlisted for the 2016 Polari Prize.
Alexis Gregory’s previous work includes Slap (Stratford East/Channel 4 pop-up performance/Concrete, Shoreditch), Safe (Soho Theatre/London Theatre Workshop/Norwich Theatre Royal) and Sex/Crime (The Glory).
