Roaring Trade by Steve Thompson
A fast-paced and astute satire exposing just how far people go for the highest-risk jobs in the City.
Pressure is mounting on the bond traders' floor. Millions stand to be lost or won. Jess is playing FTSE with the clients, PJ's practising his poker face for bonus day, and superstar trader Donny's in danger of losing his crown to the new boy. Could they be headed for more than a financial crisis?
Steve Thompson's play Roaring Trade was first staged by Paines Plough and Soho Theatre at Soho Theatre, London, in 2009.
