Hannelore Jarausch is a Ph.D. candidate. at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, specializing in eighteenth-century French literature. She is a professor emerita of French at UNC-Chapel Hill, where she directed the French language program and taught courses in methodology, language, and literature. The Foreign Language Association of North Carolina recognized Dr. Jarausch Foreign Language Teacher of the Year (Higher Education) in 2009-2010. Dr. Jarausch's research focuses on language teaching and the preparation of teaching assistants. She has given talks at ACTFL, Central States, and the North Carolina Foreign Language Association.
