Science Detectives by Mike Goldsmith
Many of the most famous scientists in history were eccentric characters, often working against a backdrop of religious or political turmoil, risking ridicule and sometimes even imprisonment all in the name of scientific discovery. Science Detectives inspires readers by showing the very human aspects of these scientific explorers and by investigating the various motivations that drove their work.
