Scottish Mammals by Robin Hull

Scotland is a treasure-chest of natural history, but it also offers literature about its wild creatures. This book examines the historical and cultural relationship between humans and mammals in Scotland over the last 10,000 years. It includes coverage of the wild mammalian species, along with marine mammals such as walruses and narwhals.

Robin Hull was born in Hertfordshire and was educated at Christ's Hospital and St Mary's Hospital Medical School in London. He worked as a General Practitioner and as a Professor of General Practice at the Free University of Amsterdam. He now lives in Perthshire where he works as a freelance writer and lecturer. His numerous publications include medical and natural history books and articles, as well as fiction.
