Mike Ward is the Director of Journalism at Preston's University of Central Lancashire. He has been teaching journalism for 14 years and is a former BBC journalist. He was instrumental in the creation of the UK's first complete undergraduate journalism program and, more recently, the University's groundbreaking MA in Online Journalism.
