Trevor Corson, author of The Hidden Lives of Lobsters, has lived in Buddhist monasteries in Japan, studied philosophy in China, and worked on commercial fishing boats off the Maine coast. He is the only sushi concierge in the United States and has written for the Atlantic Monthly and the New York Times. He currently resides in New York City.
