Semi-detached by Paul Heathorn
Keen to re-establish links with his childhood friend, Will, Liam decides the best way to do it is to buy the house next door. Except he doesn't tell Will or his wife Iman. He then goes on to create a "portal" between the two houses, and comes and goes as he pleases, tinkering with their lives.
Paul Heathorn has worked at a hostel for the homeless and as an advocate for people with mental health problems. Before writing SEMI-DETACHED, his first novel, he made a postgraduate study of Islamic and Modernist Abstract Art at the University of Kent.
