Sermon on the Mount - Personal Study Guide by Lifeway Adults

In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus invites His disciples to walk in His narrow way (Matthew 7:13-14). He insists that being a disciple requires bending our will to His. This countercultural teaching shows us freedom comes through submission, life comes through death, and peace comes through yoking ourselves to Jesus. He invites us by faith to trust that following Him will grant us true life in God's kingdom. Through studying and being transformed by the Sermon on the Mount, we understand God's gracious kingdom through Christ.
