Shawls, Wraps and Scarves by Louisa Harding

Whether you're looking for a simple scarf pattern, chic evening wrap, or classic shawl, this pattern book by one of the world's most influential designers will inspire you to create beautiful hand-knitted garments. Knitters of all skill levels will value the simple and delicate stitch patterns, which result in surprisingly sophisticated styles. More advanced knitters will appreciate the projects that introduce more complicated techniques involving lace, cable, and beading.
Louisa Harding is a leading knitwear designer with a worldwide reputation for romantic, beautifully flattering, classically-inspired designs. She is the author of several influential guides including Knitting Little Luxuries: Beautiful Accessories to Knit, Knits From an English Rose, and Modern Classics. She has worked alongside her husband, Stephen, a photographer, to create the Miss Bea series of knitting books, inspired by their children. Her work has been published in prominent knitting publications including Vogue Knitting and Interweave Knits, and some of her earliest designs appeared in Rowan Magazine No. 6. In 2005 she was very fortunate to be given the opportunity of introducing her eponymous line of yarns and pattern publications, Louisa Harding Yarns. Returning to the textile heritage of her Yorkshire home in October 2016, Louisa and her husband launched Yarntelier, a bespoke collection of Cashmere yarns and patterns. She lives in Yorkshire, England.
