She got lucky enough to marry an artist, and together they have entered the picture book world, pairing amusing rhymes with classical art. In between writing moments (and all throughout), she is called Mom by three little redheaded Hoosiers, ages 5 and under.In 2018, Sarah Steele directed Wordfest at Gloucester Cathedral, which culminated in Helen Pankhurst's suffragette march. Sarah began her career in publishing as an assistant at Hodder & Stoughton after studying classical piano and violin in London. She worked as a freelance editor for many years. She is a resident of Stroud. Her debut novel is The Pieces of Nancy Moon.
