Snatch by Richard Nisbet

Edward 'Eddie' Blake, an ex-special forces man. Several years ago, he recovered of the Ark of the Covenant. He has now been contacted by an old war hero with another mission - which means going into Lybia, where trouble is brewing. He must find Nazi artifacts worth millions before master thief Eric Von Ludendorff. But first he needs a way to enter the country. He finds a cover story - a soccer team, playing for charity, sneaks them into Lybia. At the same time, MI6 wants some of Eddie's men to snatch three VIPs held in a gaol there. Things become complicated and the search for the treasure is nearly compromised. Will the men succeed in their tasks - and will Eddie recover the artifacts and complete his mission?
Richard Nisbet is working on a children's novel, in between which he makes models of castles, lighthouses and planes. He has visited several of the countries he has written about and has chased and held gunrunners. Richard is now retired and lives in Dublin. He previously published The Ark in Hell's Doorstep.
