The football season may be drawing to a close, but Luke Crawford - skipper, player-manager and coach of the Swillsby Swifts Sunday League team - is still full of running...when he's not tripping up over his own feet.Rob Childs spent 20 years as a teacher before writing his first book. Being able to instruct soccer and gymnastics as a teacher was one of his favorite experiences. Childs went on to write over 80 novels for youngsters, including a successful sports series. At Scholastic, he also wrote the Time Rangers series. Childs lives with Joy, his wife, and Rockey, their collie puppy. Rockey enjoys taking Childs on hikes in the surrounding countryside.
