Ryszard Kapuscinski, Poland's most famous foreign journalist, was born in Pinsk (now Belarus) in 1932 and spent his career covering Asia, Latin America, and Africa. Imperium, Another Day of Life, and The Soccer War are among his works. His books have been published in 28 different languages. In 2007, Kapuscinski passed away.
