David P. Fauri is Professor of Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University. He teaches courses in the B.S.W., M.S.W. and Ph.D. programs including policy, planning and administration. His interests are in the areas of bereavement, caregiving for elders, and politics. F. Ellen Netting is Professor of Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. She practiced within the aging network in East Tennessee where she gained expertise in working with elders in diverse community-based settings. Drs. Huber, Nelson, and Netting are Fellows within the Gerontological Society of America (GSA). Mary Katherine O'Connor is Professor at School of Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University. She teaches in the MSW and Ph.D. Programs Her interests are in the areas of child welfare, constructivist research, and collaborative models of organization practice.
