The Great Days of the Canal, the series Anatomy of Canals, and a biography of Thomas Telford are among the others. He has worked extensively in television as a writer, presenter, and most recently as an expert, appearing in a variety of shows including Channel 5's Huge, Bigger, Biggest, and BBC Scotland's Thomas Telford, as well as a forthcoming edition of Coast. He has served as Historic Adviser for a number of Discovery shows.
