Spirit of St Louis Owners' Workshop Manual by Leo Marriott

The Haynes Spirit of St Louis Owners' Workshop Manual covers the amazing personal story of Charles A. Lindbergh and his epic transatlantic flight in 1927; the design and construction of the original Ryan Monoplane Spirit of St Louis, including full technical details of its airframe and engine; the story of building the replica Spirit of St Louis by SOS2, supported with plenty of photographs to illustrate the achievement; a personal account of crossing the Atlantic in the replica Spirit of St Louis 85 years on; and flying and maintaining Spirit of St Louis.
Marriott, Leo: - Leo Marriott has written numerous books on aviation, naval and military subjects including Treaty Cruisers, Catapult Aircraft, Jets at Sea and Early Jet Fighters: British and American 1944-1954. He is now retired after a fifty-year career as an air traffic controller but still maintains his pilot's license flying a syndicate-owned Cessna 172. Apart from aviation and naval history, his other interests include sailing, photography and painting.
