Star Wars - Empire by Welles Hartley
The third in a new line of Star Wars graphic novels written and drawn by some of the greatest names in comics and set during the early days of the Rebellion -- when the Empire still held the galaxy in its grip of iron. Before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope, as the Death Star is readied for its first mission, these tales trace the fortunes of the various factions and their heroes and champions. Includes a Stormtrooper's ruminations on loyalty, Darth Vader having to deal with a crash landing, and the short but happy life of Roons Sewell. These epic new stories provide essential background to the original Star Wars trilogy! This graphic novel includes a cover gallery and additional bonus material.
Go! Essex Chronicle: Top quality story telling which fills in crucial gaps in the Star Wars Saga
Ron Marz is the writer of Green Lantern, Green Lantern vs: A feng, The Silver Surfer, and author of the DC vs Marvel storyline. He has also written for Star Wars: Tales. Jeremy Barlow is a relative newcomer to comics and has, thus far, only worked on the Star Wars franchise. Welles Hartley is also relatively new to comics having only written a couple of issues of Dark Horse Presents.
