Stevie-Girl and the Phantom of Forever by Ann Swann
Once again Stevie encounters a phantom in need of assistance. This time it happened in a prison graveyard in Amarillo, Texas. That's also where she found her dad, Big Steve, but it didn't end there. This phantom not only coaxed Stevie and Jase across state lines, she coaxed them across all kinds of other boundaries, too.
Of course she did, after all, this one was the Phantom of Forever.
Ann has been a writer since junior high, but she's also worked as a waitress, delivered newspapers, cleaned other people's houses, taught school, and even worked as a secretary at a rock-n-roll radio station to help pay the bills. She also worked as a police dispatcher and a 911 operator. Ann's stories started winning honors when she was in college. She's published novels, novellas, and short tales since then. Ann, on the other hand, would not quit writing even if no one ever bought another book.
It's a cathartic break in a sometimes-crazy world for her. It even keeps her sane most of the time.
