Michel Quint was born in France in 1949. He has written for the theatre and for radio and then turned to thriller writing. In 1989 he was awarded the 'Grand Prix de Litterature Policiere' for his novel 'Billard a l'Etage'. He is married with children and lives in France. Strange Gardens is based on his own father's story.
