Supersize Stitches by Jacqui Pearce
Love cross stitch but lacking in patience? Or are you a beginner who wants fast and fabulous contemporary designs to stitch? Do you have a larger-than-life love of colourful, hip stitching? Then this is the book for you.Jacqui Pearce is one of the UK's most popular needlepoint designers and her latest book, Supersize Stitches takes her designs to whole new level!
One of the frustrations about my beloved cross stitch is that it takes so long to create anything of a decent sizeIn this book Jacqui takes the leap and scales the work up to the territory of quick wins with big stitches.
Her designs are bold and simple, with a contemporary feel that will make you keen to have a go.
Filled with simple instructions and big pictures, this book is an easy-to-use project book for stitchers at any level. The designs could always be scaled down to make mini versions for people who are just beginning to stitch and maybe overwhelmed with the size of fabric, so there's lots of scope.
If you want some quick satisfaction in producing contemporary stitchy items, this book is worth a look.
