Supervision in the Helping Professions by Peter Hawkins

Supervision has continued to spread from the professions of counseling, psychotherapy and social work, into all medical professions and into education, coaching, mentoring and human resources management. This book includes fresh techniques for supervising in groups, and the CLEAR model for structuring the process of a supervision session.

He is a leading consultant, writer and researcher in executive coaching, organizational learning, managing complex change and development of organizational culture. He has worked with many leading companies in the UK, Europe, America and South Africa. Robin Shohet has been running supervision courses through the Centre for Supervision and Team Development since 1979. He combines his work as a trainer with team coaching and culture change in organisations using Appreciative Inquiry. He lives with his family in the Findhorn Foundation, a spiritual community in the North East of Scotland.
