Suzy Orbit, Astronaut by Ruth Quayle

Suzy Orbit, Astronaut by Ruth Quayle

A humorous, inspirational picture book that shows how determination and resourcefulness can save the day! When Suzy Orbit and her boss, Captain Gizmo, hear that aliens have been spotted near their space station, they must act fast!

Ruth Quayle (Author)
When Ruth's three children aren't sending footballs whizzing past her ears and persuading her that sweets are healthy, they're saying funny things that she scribbles down and turns into stories.

Ruth used to be a writer and sub-editor on national newspapers and glossy magazines, but she's much happier working from home as a freelance writer.

Jez Tuya (Illustrator)
Jez wanted to fly planes when he was a kid, but because he loved drawing things more, he decided to make a career out of it. He's been working as a professional illustrator for close to nine years, and over this time he has worked for many clients in children's book publishing and designed characters for animated films and TV shows.

When he's not making pictures, he does a bit of travelling, plays board games with his friends and finds his inner zen by baking delicious things. Jez currently lives in New Zealand's windy capital, Wellington.
