The Memory Thief, Emily Colin's debut novel, was a New York Times bestseller and a Target Emerging Writers Selection. She was the previous associate director of DREAMS of Wilmington, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting adolescents in need via the arts, has assisted in the creation of two small publishing firms, and spent her early years as an itinerant teen violinist in New York City. She was born in Brooklyn and now lives with her family in Wilmington, North Carolina.
