Oraz Turkmen is a Professor, an Academician and a Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Science. Being employed in the system of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmen SSR, he rose from being a laboratory assistant to President of the Academy of Sciences. He is the author of over 300 scientific works in radiophysics, geophysics, solar-Earth physics and science of science.
