Tales of the Jazz Age by F Scott Fitzgerald
Tales of the Jazz Age (1922) contains some of Fitzgerald's best short stories, including 'May Day' and 'The Diamond as Big as the Ritz', as well as 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button', a tale of a man living his life backwards. In them Fitzgerald wryly chronicles the temper of the hedonistic 1920s, and displays his inventive versatility.
Jackson R. Bryer has published widely on F. Scott Fitzgerald, including an edition of the love letters of F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald, Dear Scott, Dearest Zelda (2002), and he has been President of the F. Scott Fitzgerald Society since 1990. For Oxford World's Classics he has edited This Side of Paradise.
