Jocelyn Miller has visited Europe, Canada, Mexico, the Yucatan, the Caribbean, and the United States extensively. Her early years spent learning to read and write in Spanish with her family in Puerto Rico, and then in St. Louis, opened the door to the diversity of the human race. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, absorbing the Caribbean's colorful and rich heritage. Her teen years were spent in the Scottsdale, Arizona desert, amidst the intertwined cultures of Hispanic Mexico, Native Peoples of the southwest, and cowboys and ranchers of the fading desert panoramas, in stark contrast to island life. Jocelyn was inspired to pursue creative interests from an early age by her talented and artistic parents.

Writing, modeling, sketching, poetry, and innovative costuming flourished in her artistic ability, and she worked several years making award-winning costumes for an east coast dance group. Jocelyn is now researching and writing her next novel or novels. Though historical novels remain her first passion, her lifelong fascination with the paranormal has kindled a fire, and she has placed one foot in the horror genre with her latest endeavor.
