Sandra Horn trained as a clinical psychologist, but writing has always been a passion of hers. She won the TVS Prize for Best TV Script at a Southampton Writer's Conference. She is married, and has three grown up sons. Ken Brown was an award-winning author and illustrator, having created many picture books for Andersen Press. His books have been translated into many languages all over the world. He was married to fellow picture book illustrator Ruth Brown.
