This work is written to coincide with the NHS modernisation programme call for a third of consultants to receive "Teaching the Teachers" training.
Rosin, R. David: - R. David Rosin was born in Zimbabwe and was educated at St George's College. He studied medicine at Westminster Hospital School of Medicine, University of London. His father was a surgeon and his mother a politician, leader of the opposition to Ian Smith. His surgical training included working in Hong Kong prior to being appointed a consultant surgeon at St Mary's Hospital, ICSM, London. He later studied the history of medicine and was elected senior vice president of the Royal College of Surgeons before moving to take up an appointment as a professor of surgery at the University of the West Indies in Barbados where he now lives and works. He worked through the COVID-19 pandemic, though not on the front line. This book was written during the month of March 2020 during lockdown in Barbados.
