The Televisionary Oracle by Rob Brezsny

Millions of people already live their lives in accordance with Rob Brezsny's Real Astrology prophecies. But the time has come for a deeper dose of Brezsny's brain. The Televisionary Oracle is an archetypal roller-coaster that would make Rumi dizzy and leave Carl Jung gasping for breath.

Rob Brezsny's astrological writing is informed by his experience as a storyteller and social observer, as well as his knowledge of mythology. His syndicated weekly column, Free Choice Astrology, appears in 120 periodicals throughout the world. In addition to his books and column, Brezsny is a musician who has released five albums. Three were members of the MCA Records band World Entertainment War, which was nominated for a Bammie, California's version of the Grammys. Bill Graham, one of rock's most powerful promoters, was the band's manager until his death. Brezsny is now working on a new album, This Is a Perfect Time, which will serve as the music for the book Pronoia. Brezsny has played in over 700 events between 1979 and the present, ranging from intimate performance art venues to large rock shows at the Whole Earth Festival in Davis, California.

He developed a series of performance art pieces after leaving the rock music business for good in 2000, and he presented them at the Burning Man Festival in 2001, 2002, and 2004. He resides in Mill Valley, California.
