Epic Dupree played along . . . until she couldn't.

Everyone thought The Duprees were the perfect family band.

But behind the Billboard chart successes were the family lies, behind those lies were the abuse and gaslighting, and then came the ultimate upending.

And so Epic left her home and her music in Savannah, Georgia, in search of a new city and a new life. She didn't want to sing again. She couldn't. She folded up her voice in a packing box, labeled it miscellaneous, and put it in her storage locker.

Now, ten years later, Epic's manager reaches out because the fans haven't forgotten about The Duprees. People want a reunion. They need one. The money could be amazing. But what about the wounds?

Ten years is long enough to heal the pain.

Well, isn't it?
