Author Debra Davis Hinkle writes memoirs, poems and short stories about grief issues, child abuse, learning disabilities and her passion for animals, especially cats. She is an adult survivor of child abuse and deals with learning disabilities. Debra has six cats and a dog. She is an award winning writer and poet. Co-author Jim Leonard writes poems, prayers, and short stories about his spiritual journey with the Old Mission Catholic Church in San Luis Obispo, CA. Mr. Leonard is also an Oblate at the Benedictine Monastery of the Risen Christ in San Luis Obispo, CA and his passion involves helping people find their spiritual path. In 2005, Trafford Publishing issued his book A Little Bible Guide For Carly. Some of his short stories were published by the Monterey Observer, a Catholic newspaper and also in Tales from the Corner, An Anthology, published by Central Coast Press.
