This To That Board Book by Walsh Melanie
Four brightly coloured and visually arresting concept board books. These four books are part of Walker's new range of concept board books that combine graphic pictures with ingeniously simple novelty devices. Lifting the flaps in these bold, cheerful board books introduces a variety of basic concepts. Flip the flaps and little becomes big, down up, dark light (Big and Little); a brick becomes a house, a tadpole a frog, an acorn a tree (This to That); see what happens to a muddy puppy, a clean face, a birthday cake (Before and After) and see what's behind the door, under the leaf, inside the dustbin (What's There?). The simple, Lucy Cousins-like illustrations and brightly painted backgrounds will appeal to the youngest child, and give these books a thoroughly contemporary look. Here are four interactive delights to brighten up any nursery!
Melanie Walsh is a rising star of children's illustration who makes her Walker publishing debut with this exciting range of board books.
