Three Scary Stories by Frieda Hughes

Three bizarre stories, each with a twist in the tail. From the weird "Clockwork Dog" with strangely human features, to the "Granny" possessed by a wicked spirit, to the "Little Brother" who concocts a special chemical to make things grow...each tale should make the hairs on your head tingle.
Frieda Hughes is the daughter of Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath. She is well-known as an artist, as well as an author for children, and has had many exhibitions. She is married to the Australian/Hungarian artist Laszlo Lukacs. Frieda has given readings of her own poetry in the States, where she is particularly well-received. Her books include: Wooroloo: Poems - two collections, published by HarperCollins, and The Thing in the Sink, Rent a Friend and The Tall Story, illustrated by Chris Riddell and published by Hodder Wayland.
