Noticeable cracking to front hinge, with exposed netting. Binding is weakened, however text block remains secure. Thumb marking present. Pen & pencil inscription to front endpaper. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends, tearing to cloth and rub wear all over. Water staining to boards. Gilt lettering is dulled.
