June Morley grew up in East London, and writing has always brought her great pleasure. When her three children were small, she wrote stories and poems to share with them. So, when her eldest son came home with details of a national competition for a children's bedtime story, she decided to enter and was surprised but delighted to be chosen as the winner. Her prize was the publication of her picture book, with the proceeds from the sale of books going to the charity, Book Aid International. The following year brought more good news when her second picture book, Time For Dinner was published by Top That Publishing. Born in Brittany, France, Marina has been drawing ever since she could hold a pen (and has never looked back!). After studying biology and landscape architecture, Marina decided to make a living out of her hobby and found success as both a children's book illustrator and greetings card designer with her vibrant and distinctive style of illustration. Marina also loves to travel - a hobby that has sparked not only her artistic endeavours, but also a passion for pasta!
