Bill Williams is a Florida-based retired Englishman. He is a certified financial accountant who formerly served as the CEO of a multinational IT and business consulting firm. He began his soccer career in England, where he was a member of three professional clubs and afterwards a number of semi-professional teams. After relocating to Florida, he developed a passion for golf, which he pursued by playing, observing, and eventually writing about the game and its history. He describes himself as a student of golf history.

Since retiring from a career in business and trade that led him to many parts of the world, he has developed a passion for all sports, particularly golf. He spends his time reading and researching from his enormous library of biographies and reference books when he is not playing golf or visiting professional competitions. Bill's recent work is his third published book, and he has numerous additional golf-related projects in the works.
