Karl E. Brysac and Shareen Blair Brysac are co-authors. Meyer, author of the best-selling Tournament of Shadows: The Great Game and the Central Asian Drive for Empire. She is a former CBS News producer who has won multiple Emmys and the Peabody Award. She works as a contributing editor for Archaeology Magazine at the moment.
