TT Heroes by Michael Savage
The book describes the journey and achievements of Dr. Jose Limjoco Evangelista, born and raised in the Philippines and migrated to the United States of America where he practiced his profession. It gives a synopsis of his life, from his boyhood to graduation from the University of Santo Tomas, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in the Phiippines. It chronicles his journey with his wife and classmate, Dr. Stella Evangelista. They were married after graduation from medical school, left for the United States for post-graduate training for 5 years and then decided to practice in Michigan where he raised his family of 6 children. Due to political unrest in the Philippines (martial law was declared for 20 years), he decided to remain in the United States.
