Ultrasound is responsible for some of the major changes in the use of technology in obstetrics today. This book is a guide for practitioners wishing to undertake ultrasound scanning, now an integral part of antenatal care, as part of their midwifery practice. Jean Proud was formerly a midwife teacher at Lakeland College and taught a Masters Degree course for Ultrasonographers at St Martin's College, Lancaster.
