Dr. Dan Reiter is the Samuel Candler Dobbs Professor of Political Science at Emory University. He is one of the leading scholars in international relations, having for decades published across the breadth of conflict topics, including the causes of war, bargaining and war, alliances, terrorism, nuclear weapons, gender and conflict, military effectiveness and war outcomes, IR decision-making, domestic politics and foreign policy, the democratic peace, military strategy, foreign-imposed regime change, and others.
