Dr Edith Shiro holds a master and doctorate degree from Yeshiva University in New York. She is a licensed clinical psychologist with a private practice in Miami, Florida, where she specializes in trauma, posttraumatic stress (PTSD), and posttraumatic growth (PTG). Recognized as an expert in the field of posttraumatic growth, Dr Shiro has focused her attention on immigration and acculturation issues, and has also frequently spoken on trauma related to the Covid-19 pandemic. She works with individuals, couples, and families, holding space for personal transformation and guiding their psychological, emotional and spiritual development to achieve greater potential and higher levels of consciousness and mindfulness.
