Peter Ashley is the author and photographer of the Everyman Pocket Books, London Peculiars, Pastoral Peculiars and More London Peculiars. He collaborated with Philip Wilkinson on the books accompanying the BBC 2 Restoration programmes and The English Buildings Book, the most comprehensive book ever attempted on the subject.
