Unplanned Journey is a breast cancer diary with candid and beautifully observed photography by award-winning photographer, Bella West. It shows the 18-month period in the life of a middle-aged woman, Tiggy Walker, undergoing her breast cancer treatment and reconstruction.
Tiggy Walker has spent 30 years producing TV commercials but stopped when diagnosed with breast cancer. She is now writing a TV drama, Antonia, based on the novel by Naomi Jacob. She is Joint Patron of Carers UK with her husband, Radio 2's Johnnie Walker. Bella West has been at the forefront of social photography for the past twenty years. Working wholly in natural light, Bella uses the environment as her backdrop to combine a journalistic stance with a strong classical element.
