Yeng, Pway Ngon: - Yeng Pway Ngon is a poet, novelist, playwright and critic from Singapore who has published twenty-six volumes in the Chinese language. His work is noted for its examination of the modern human condition, and has been translated into English, Italian, Malay, and Dutch. He was awarded the Cultural Medallion for his contributions to literature in Singapore, and the Southeast Asian Writers Award. Unrest is the winner of 2004 Singapore Literature Prize.
