Vagabond's House by Don Blanding
This early work of poetry is both expensive and hard to find in its first edition. This is a lovely work and is thoroughly recommended for any fans poetry. Many of the earliest books, particularly those dating back to the 1900s and before, are now extremely scarce. We are republishing these classic works in affordable, high quality, modern editions, using the original text and artwork.
Blanding, Don: - Don Blanding (1894-1957) was an American author and illustrator. Equally adept at poetry and prose, Mr. Blanding's books centered on travel, often in tropical locales. He was a gifted artist who illustrated his own work. He is the author of more than twenty books, including the best-selling Vagabond's House (1928), Pictures of Paradise (1936), Floridays (1941), and Mostly California (1948). Blandings was an inveterate traveler and adventurer and, at the age of 47, enlisted for duty in World War Two.
