After signing a three-year contract in the United States, After leaving the Army, John took a position as a junior copywriter at a well-known advertising firm, where a well-paid Creative Director proclaimed John Klawitter to be the most undirect-ible person he had met. A few months later, John received an EMMY award for a documentary he co-produced with world-famous Artist Reporter Franklin McMahon, Sr. In the decades afterwards, John Klawitter has worked with such legends as Ray Bradbury, Rod Serling, Orson Welles, Leslie Nielson, Arthur Pierson, Art Babbett, Bill Hanna, Joe Barbera, Bugs Bunny, and Goofy to make successful films and videos for major agencies and most of Hollywood companies, including Disney, Warner Bros, Universal, Paramount, and Hanna-Barbera.
