Visitors' Historic Britain: Somerset by Mick Davis

A comprehensive historic guide to the legendary county of Somerset.
Mick Davis first journeyed to Somerset in the late 1980s, restoring old buildings, before moving permanently to Frome in 2006. Mick divides his time between writing and volunteering at Frome Museum. His first book was The Historic Inns of Frome and his collaborations with David Lassman include The Awful Killing of Sarah Watts and Foul Deeds & Suspicious Deaths in and around Frome. David Lassman was born in Somerset and began his writing career freelancing for newspapers and magazines. He has written extensively about local history, Jane Austen, Bath (where he was born) and Frome (where he now lives). His non-fiction books include Frome in the Great War, The Awful Killing of Sarah Watts and Bath At War. He is also co-author of the Regency Detective series of novels.
