
W. B. Yeats: A Critical Introduction by Stan Smith
The aim of this study is to help students at school and university to approach W.B.Yeats. Some sections of this book were first delivered as lectures in the Universita degli Studi di Firenze in 1987, and as the talk, "The Folly That Men Do: Yeats and Women" at the British Institute, Florence.
Stan Smith had a long pedigree of teaching both art students and amateur artists. He was part-time lecturer at the Royal College of Art and for almost a decade was Head of Fine Art at the University of Oxford. He exhibited regularly in the UK, and was the author of many books on painting and drawing including The Complete Drawing Course.
